Lump Sulfur (Turkmenistan)
Solid sulfur in lumps for acid and chemical production, to the same TDS 127.1-93 standard.
Overview
Lump sulfur is solid sulfur in irregular lumps. It suits uses where grain shape does not matter, such as sulfuric acid and chemical production.
It meets the same Turkmen standard as granular sulfur: at least 99.95% sulfur, bright yellow, and free of mechanical impurities.
Moisture in lump sulfur can rise up to 2%. The actual weight of the whole volume is then recalculated to the standard moisture.
Storage and loading
- Stockpiled in the open and loaded by loader or crane.
- Shipped in rail wagons, trucks or jumbo bags.
