Standard export barrels
- Metal drums are the most widely used bitumen packaging.
- Capacities of 160, 180 and 240 kg; the standard long barrel holds 182.5 ± 2.5 kg net.
- Durable, leak-proof metal with a 0.6 mm body.
- We recommend new barrels only; second-hand drums add transport risk.
Bitoplast
- 40 kg fusible packs that melt and blend into the bitumen when heated.
- Pack size: 90 cm high and 43 cm wide.
- Supplied on box pallets of 1,000 kg (25 to 30 packs).
- Used in road construction, roofing and industrial sealing.
Bit bag, 300 kg
- Self-standing bags for cold bitumen, 300 to 1,000 kg.
- Lifting rings on top for easy forklift handling.
- Bitumen is cooled to shipping temperature in a cooling and packaging unit before filling.
- Rain- and UV-resistant; stores up to 24 months; ships by sea, road or rail.
Jumbo bags, 1,000–1,300 kg
- Cage, structural and self-standing types.
- 3-ply PP fabric with special-purpose film; rain- and UV-resistant.
- No heating needed; storage up to 12 months.
- Loaded in 20-ft and 40-ft containers by road and sea.
Flexi tank, 20 tons
- Liquid bitumen shipped in a flexi bag inside a container.
- Light and flexible, which lowers storage and freight costs.
- Suited to long-distance export and reduces contamination risk.
Bulk tanker
- Dedicated bitumen tankers with temperature control.
- Best for high-volume trade.
- Meets international safety and environmental standards.
