Granular Sulfur (Turkmenistan)
Pea-sized granules that are easy to handle and spread, to Turkmen standard TDS 127.1-93.

Overview
Granular sulfur comes as small pea-sized grains, so it is easy to handle, store and apply. It is used in sulfuric acid production, agriculture, medicine, food, paper and rubber.
Sulfur was once taken from volcanic zones or by drilling with hot steam. Today it is mostly recovered from oil and gas refining, which sharply cuts sulfur dioxide emissions.
In farming, the granules suit mechanical spreading. Sulfur is a key plant nutrient: it supports the synthesis of protein, fats and organic compounds, and takes part in photosynthesis and respiration.
Turkmenistan is a well-known sulfur producer and supplies it in both granular and lump form.
Packaging and loading
- Bulk loading into rail wagons with liners, or jumbo bags.
- Loaded by crane or forklift.
